Launching Klarna in the US

INSPIRING GENERATION Z TO SHOP LIKE A QUEEN

Klarna is more than a financial solution. It’s a constant game-changer and trend-setter, unafraid to break taboos and redefine the business. So when asked to introduce their shopping app to gen-z Americans, we knew exactly who to call: The best drag queens in the world.

Together with alumni from RuPauls Drag Race, we helped Klarna roll out like a pink tank among white collar banks, hitting every KPI as we went. Across all platforms imaginable, the message rang loud and clear: Get Smoooth. Shop Like A Queen.

The queens were challenged to create a signature look based on the concept “Shop Like a Queen”, using only the Klarna app for all their fashion and makeup needs.

 

The journey was documented on social media, driving app downloads and engaging followers in the process. Additional value was added through exclusive in-app content.

And for New York Pride, we took it to the runway, revealing the final looks at the Playstation Theater together with our friends Icona Pop. The outfits were then reviewed by legends Raven and Mariah on WOW present’s “Fashion Photo Ruview”.
